Communities.
Community engagement is at the heart of my practice, encouraging people to develop their creative skills moves my practice forward and it’s an integral part of the process of my projects.
I design and lead creative workshops with diverse and intergenerational groups, using drawing, painting, printmaking, collage and making as tools for co-creation.
I have worked with communities across the UK and internationally, in schools, housing developments, museums, health settings, refugee homes and community centres.
From Khayelitsha in South Africa to Arnhem in the Netherlands, from Berlin to Bristol.
I believe co-creation is beneficial for everyone. It's good for your mental health, it builds connection and it gives communities pride and ownership of the spaces they live in.
