Fountain Ladies.

CIMU Festival @ UNAM Faculty of Art and Design.

Mexico City, Mexico 2018

Invited to paint a wall at the UNAM - a prestigious university in Mexico City as part of a 1 week festival and conference discussing the representation of Women in Urban Art.

β€œThe piece is inspired by several fountains I saw on my vanny trip around cities in Europe; lots of statues of Ladies splashing water all over the place, in Lisboa and Valencia, for example. My Fountain Ladies can be interpreted as you wish. Simply, they represent the circle of life and I brought them to CIMU because being a lady is quite splashy, no matter how you look at it.”

BIG gracias to Manu Galindo some of the pics.
